Auger system testing

Here is the oil-drum in place with the finished auger-system under test. Once something has been finished it can be rather mesmeric to sit and watch it working, many hours can be lost this way and this was no exception. It had taken so long to perfect the unit that I couldn't really believe it was all working however, when I had to clear-up the pile of wood-chips on the floor I was quickly returned to reality!
