Same again but a closer photograph and from the other side. All of the timber used is 'tanalised' (treated to reduce moisture problems and rot) and I have long-since learned that all screws should, at the very least, be galvanised or, better still, stainless steel. You never know when you will want to dismantle one of your creations and use the materials again for something else! Nails, in my opinion, might be good for some jobs but, they are of very little use in energy projects!
